Prusa i3 hephestos starting print at far left corner

Hello everybody, i have another question we have now calibrated our printer, everything seems to work fine..

However when we starts to print it goes home on all axis and starts printing at the corner of the plate, how do i set the setting in cura so that it starts printing in the middle of the plate..

What pops up in my mind is if you look at the start code in Cura
I have like default
G90 ;absolute positioning
Do you have the same ?
Guess if you have relative positioning maybe you get that problem of yours ...

If you move your object in Cura before printing, does it effect where it gets printed ?

No the objects placement in cura dont have any effect on placement of where the printer starts to print.

I dont have the g90 in my gcode..

However if we try on another computer with the exatcly same specifications in cura it prints fine..
This is a really wierd issue.

Check the bed size in the settings, maybe it's set incorrectly at double the actual size or so, depending on placement of the endstops.

^ Unfortunately bed size is set correct. the funny thing is that its only my computer.
Can it be that the different 3d software i have is "colliding" with eachother?

I have Pronterface, simplify3d, RepetierHost, and Cura.

NOTE:
In Pronterface when i press the red button that makes the printer goes center it does EXATCLY that (so it knows where the middle is)

Check the gcode that's being produced, see if there's a wrong offset or something. Maybe it's centering and zeroing this position. When the print starts it goes to the center, with the offset already in the center it may go to the left corner. Post the gcode if you're not certain what to look for.

You can also try generating the gcode on a different computer, then print the gcode directly from the computer that's giving you problems. If that's working, I'd check in the settings where you can add gcode at the start and see if that's differrent compared to the working computer.

I will try this thursday and report back.. Thanks for your help. Btw i think it is a problem with offset and i removed it completely it was set to the middle

I think you're on to something! It would be interesting to know if that was the problem.

Problem found mine was not set to flip y table and my option was set to

center on x center on y and max to z..

All changed to max flipped y table and it works..

Thanks for feedback. Where did you change. Was it in the Firmware or in Cura.
