I am curious...
what is everyone using their 3D-printer for?
What are you designing; what are you actually
printing besides Mendel- and MiniMendel- parts?
(Not just planning to design/print at some point.)

And what did you originally think you would use
your printer for, when you decided to get one?

Letting local kids have their 1st experience operating a Robot, and using the Cartesian system.

Printing parts to keep the hobby funding itself.

Hi,
Building a Mendel in preparation for my dissertation (MSc Robotics) which is due next year.
Meanwhile I plan to print preliminary prototype designs for products the the company I work for manufacture.

Hi Sebastien,

No not yet. I'm starting my second year in 4 weeks time as I'm a part-time student. Any cool suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I need to pick a topic by end of this year.
