Arduino 2560 - 12MHz clock speed???! [SOLVED]

Hi all,

at first let me thank u all for building, maintaining & enriching this community.

We recently decided to built a Prusa i3, and we sourced the materials on our own. Our cloned Arduino came and noticed (with my limited knowledge on the subject) that the crystal oscillator is a 12MHz one (pls see attached picture) while the genuine has a 16MHz one.

Will we have any problems if we use this Arduino clone?

Some boards have a 12mhz crystal for the USB sperate to the main crystal.

I suspect you have one of these [forum.arduino.cc] in wich case there is a second tiny crystal for the mega...
