Prints are perfect except for this new issue

I'm sure this is a perfect example of missed steps. I've run through the regular issues that cause this but everything seems to be ok. This doesnt happen every print but when it does it messes up exactly the same every time. Off to the left side 1/32" (using 1/32" stepper drivers). It's definately on the X axis.


Extruder is calibrated and as you can see prints very well (no blobs, etc)
Motors do not get hot
Stepper drivers do not get hot
Voltage is correct on the driver
Belt is tight as well as the pulley.
Use a very thin coat of synthetic lube on the polished rods.
Filament is Hatchbox 1.75 and works/prints very, very well.
.40 nozzle print a .30 base and then .20 layers
Nozzle temp 225
Bed temp 110/100
No lifting of the corners. Sticks to bed perfectly.

I'm at my wits end. Any help or something I might check would be appreciated.

Myself, I'd increase the voltage on the driver on that axis, assuming that you have checked for binding first. A little more torque should clear that up.

Thanks so much for the quick response. It slides very easy. No catches or tight spots. I have voltage set at .370 now and it "should" be at .350. How much higher do you think is safe to go?

If the motor and driver stay cool, you can safely increase. You might also check and possibly reduce max accelerations in your software.

That doesn´t make sense?! If it´s off to the left, it is the x-stepper that misfires, right?
