Extracting firmware settings from printer

Hello everyone!
I own a PrusaI3 printer with a Melzi board and I've been trying to add auto-leveling since I didn't want to waste anymore time doing it manually.
The problem is that since I bought the board with the software pre-installed I don't know the Marlin settings and I have to modify Configuration.h to enable auto-leveling.

I was wandering if it was possible to extract settings like PID, steps per mm, etc from the board to put into Marlin without doing all the measurements by hand since the printer works fine.

The reason why I'm trying not to do it from scratch is that I don't know the specifics for each part (belts, screws, gears, etc) since they arrived in the same box.
Thanks.
