mixing things up

hey everyone!

my y stepper motor driver board broke down so i ordered a new one.

my x and y stepper boards are 1.1 version and the new one is 2.3.

i tried to make everything work and found out that the new board requires enable pins to be inverted while the 1.2 version doesn't.

if i choose to invert the enable pins,only z axis work and if i don't, x and y axis work but z donesn't.

how do i make i all work together?

i'm using gen2electronics tring to build a darwin.

I expect you could hack the firmware, but the simplest thing would be to let it control z and wire x & y so they are permanently enabled.

My motors (with Gen 2 electronics) are permanently enabled. It's not a big deal, and doesn't hurt anything.
