Best Reusable Bed Material for PLA?

Good morning!

I'm in the middle of overhauling my old Huxley. The current bed is some sort of wood fiberboard covered in painters tape, which is annoying to use and far from ideal. I'm looking for a good reusable bed surface replacement for PLA. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Glass on top of a PCB heater. Occasional smear of diluted PVA and I have to wait for the bed to cool down before the PLA print will come off short of hitting it with a hammer.

for PLA mk3 aluminium flipped over at 55C and a smudging of gluestick its a bond made in heaven!. downside is you have to wash/scrape off the old glue once a week as it dries out to leave a lumpy chalky white substance which left untreated make a ugly first layer. the other downside theirs no guarantee the bed comes flat! ever y one i have came warped!.

but what ever you got now try a little glue stick and see for yourself. if you dont like that grab a sheet of of printbite "read it good for a number of different filaments
