Hi. I do not have a RepRap but I am interested in running a quick flow simulation of the liquefier. What I need as a condition of my simulation is the mass flow rate of the melt. I was hoping someone here who has a reprap could run a small experiment measuring the mass flow rate of the melt as it comes out of the liquefier. All that is involved is measuring the mass of melt extruded per a set amount of time. If it can be run a few times to get consistent results I would appreciate it. I would also like to know which version of the extruder you are using. Thank you very much.

(Note: If someone already knows the average entrance velocity of the material filament entering the liquefier with a source or another experiment, that would also suffice.)

Trying looking at nopheads blog www.hydraraptor.blogspot.com he has lots of very good information on flow rates, temperatures etc.
