Circles are rounded squares

I already have some finely tuned to the Orca Mendel. A test block 20x20X10 mm is now within the required dimensions. The Y step from 40 to 42 put in the firmware.
But circles, who want to really fail, they are more rounded squares. The inner layer does not look that bad, but it is just the outline so that stands out.

Have you checked the GCode you are using? If the GCode shows no Y axis movement when the X-axis is printing a side, then check to see if the Y-axis is locked during that move. Depending on the firmware, it may or may not lock non-moving axes.

The Gcode looks correct, I try different settings and play with the settings of Skeinforge (Stretch ect.) But I have always the same problem. The filling looks like a circle, but the outside edge is the problem. To explain it beter, I've publish a picture on http://www.mouwy.com/circles

I use the firmware for GEN6 from http://www.mendel-parts.com/downloads/firmware/Marlin/2011-08-13_Marlin_v0-9-0_Orca_new_optos.zip

I see not locking during the move.
