Is there a list somewhere of i3's available for purchase, especially assembled?

Negative.
The Prusa i3 was designed to be built using simple tools, standard components and easily available materials. There is an incomplete list of Prusa i3 variants in the wiki, but as far as I know nobody has compiled a list of kits or assembled Prusa i3's.

I would recommend the i3v,vslot rails, WORLD of difference over the smooth rod versions. Just finished rebuilding mine, as if you are ever finished tweaking and upgrading spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
