Just upgraded Marlin to new RC (to try to fix auto bed leveling problem). Z steppers work fine during normal movement, but immediately stop and whine continuously during Z home operation. Only other thing I changed was a proximity sensor in place of Z min endstop. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
In your configuration.h file, change the homing feed rates to
#define HOMING_FEEDRATE {50*60, 50*60, 150, 0} // set the homing speeds (mm/min)
