Prints not centered after UBL
April 13, 2019 01:56AM
I just setup UBL with a z-probe over the last couple of days and although it's working (and it's awesome), my prints are no longer centered on the bed.

I've tried tweaking everything I can think of, but prints still seem to be offset towards the origin when the slicer thinks they're centered. I've also noticed that Safe Homing now places the probe at the center of the bed and not the hotend (that may be the intended behavior?). I was meticulous is getting my offsets exactly right (with graph paper and calipers) and this part seems to be ok (testing with a feeler gauge after enable UBL seems to produce the exact same z clearance all over my bed now (yeah!).

My setup:

* Makerfarm Prusa i3v (RAMPS 1.4 based cartesian)
* Slic3r
* BLTouch Smart 3.0 Z-probe

Config attached here as well. Any ideas on what I could check?

I never discovered the cause of this, but the problem seems to have gone away on it's own.
