I'm trying to do an auto pid tune on E0 but it keeps failing with a semaphore timeout.
This is Marlin 2.1.1

That error message is generated by the host, not by the printer.

Sounds like your PC is having some com line problems. You could try switching to a different terminal program and see if it goes away.

I switched to Pronterface and it works fine, so you are correct, it was the terminal I was using.
