Marlin firmware for MPX.3 board?
December 03, 2023 11:14AM
I have a Max Micron printer using a MPX.3 board.
I used it quite a bit then got sidetracked and it's been sitting idle for the last 3 years.
I hooked it up to a different computer and got it running with the original firmware.
The firmware is from 2016 and I've only been able to flash it using Arduino 1.0.6.
I would love to update the firmware to latest Marlin but have been unsuccessful so far.
I don't suppose anyone here has updated firmware for this board, do ya?
Looking recommendations and possibly help compiling old firmware to new.
Would the latest Marlin improve printing?(if I can get it compiled correctly)
Should I get a new controller board?
Thank you.

MPX.3. it identical to a BOARD_MKS_BASE It is still supported In modern Marlin

It is strongly advised that you use platformio under vscode these days not arduino ide.
