I recently upgraded to this version as reported here:

I noticed when retracting the filament 100mm moves were only moving 50. The only thing I can think is I have 'half-z' option turned on.
Then my first prints were horrible: even at 350% thickness on the first layer (using settings that always worked before) the wall layers were not touching each other. Everything was anemic.
I put my settings back to my original values and set the 'flow' parameter to 2, now have great prints!
Seems like that 'half-z' is accidentally propagating into the filament movements. Or something like that.
