I have purchased the PRO version ... but I cannot find one thing: how can I change the name for style, support and materials? I have that combo box where it is written "sample material". How can I change that to PLA or ABS or whatever ? I tried to click it, double click it, right click it ... I cannot edit it ... nothing works ... thanks, mihaiby mihai - Experimental
Sublime, is there a post processor that adds brim to the gcode generated by kisslicer ? thanks, mihaiby mihai - Experimental
is this software still maintained / developed ? I see that the latest update is from May 2013.... I have tried it yesterday ... and the results are very good ... I'm interested in buying the PRO version, but I have some questions: - are future versions planned ? - will be there a brim feature in the near future ? kisslicer forum is down with this message (Temporarily closed for maintenance.)by mihai - Experimental

measure them with a digital caliper. here the tolerances are listed: my H9 rods were 7.96 - 7.97 in diameter. H6 have in the worst case 7.99 I also have cheap Chinese lm8uu ... the problem was with rods not with bearings. regards, mihai jamesshuang Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Mihai: vxb doesn't actually list their specs > anywhere. what is the tolerance of your rods ? it must be H7 or even better H6. Once I have tried H9 ... and it was very bad ... how strong are the parts made from resin ? can they compete with PLA and ABS at strength ? thanks, mihaiby mihai - General

Until recently I have used the standard MK7 gear, but the teeth were too small and sometimes the filament was slipping. I have created a new gear (derived from MK7) with 0.2 mm higher depth of the teeth. Here is picture (mk7 is on the left side, new gear is on the right side): mk7 vs new gear with 0.2 higher depth so far we had no problems with the new gear after printing several types of PLAby mihai - Developers

I have printed the Repraper PLA on a bed covered with masking tape .... The bed was NOT heated. here is an example of print (a long piece of 11-12 cm). here is how difficult is to remove the piece from the bed: I have made various attempts to print the Repraper PLA (kaepton, heated bed) ... but almost are a failure (except the masking tape which is too good!). "Microsoft’s 3D printing vision is simple: give people the power to create, capture, use and re-create real-world objects in 3D, and make it easy to do. The company wants to make printing objects in 3D “as easy as creating a document in Microsoft Word and sending it to print." from what I read, they seem to aim at a complete toolchain - starting with 3D scanning, ... and finally printing ... miby mihai - General
