thanks for the information. I guess it just comes down to cost. The search continues!by Smiddleton - General
Thanks for the reply, would this STM32 Discovery board work? Or the Nutiny board? I am pretty sure these are both 32 bit and can drive up to 4 stepper motors. Sorry, I don't understand the terminology, I am a materials engineer, great for hardware, but not so much electronics, not that I can't learn. It's pretty cool stuff! Thanks again for the help. Hey Guys, I am new to the 3D printer arena. Please be patient with me if I ask stupid questions. I have researched the Sanguinololu control board. I was about to purchase it but found a company that was willing to donate parts to my 3d printer project. The problem is, I can't figure out what would be the equivalent of a sanguinololu. Is there a microcontroller kit out there that repetier host (oby Smiddleton - General
Yes, it printed just fine.by Smiddleton - Repetier
nope, it didn't work. it just makes a grinding noise after it hits the sides.by Smiddleton - Repetier
I am using repetier host for windows. So it's under manual control. Okay, I will give that a try. Thanks.by Smiddleton - Repetier
Thanks for the reply. Where is print panel? And will this work with the extruder motor unplugged? It is unplugged because the hot end is being replaced due to clogging.by Smiddleton - Repetier
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and to programming. I have a gen 2 solidoodle. Currently my extruder is being replaced. I was wondering if there was a way in repetier host to run the x, y, and z motors through g-code. I tried to write a simple program but I can't seem to disable the extruder so that it does it can run without it. Hope that makes sense. Any help would be very.. Well... Helpful.
