Hello, I'm building a customized Rostock. I've obtained a number of contact points by lowering the print head (I've replaced the nozzle with a Sharpie) to where it just touches the bed. The current configuration suffers from a bit of "bowling" where the print head moves in an upside-down bowl shape instead of printing a flat spiral. To get these points, I move the print head to a predetermined (by ryanthejuggler - Delta Machines
I'm working with a RAMBo on my printer, and I've got a problem where the motors only function properly if I press on the connector with my finger. There seems to be a loose connection. Is there anything I can do (squish the crimps with some pliers before inserting, etc) that might help me free up an extra hand? Or should I look at buying better motor connectors? The connectors are the ones that cby ryanthejuggler - General
I've just recently completed enough of my Rostock so that I can get it moving. I'm using the Marlin firmware, `deltabot` branch. I plugged in my motors, turned it on, and hit "home" on Pronterface... *ChukkaChukkaChukka* it started moving off to one side, very jerkily. Only the motor plugged into the "Z" port on my RAMBo was making any appreciable movement; the other two were stuttering around wiby ryanthejuggler - Delta Machines
I'm putting together a custom Rostock and I'd like to be able to run a Raspberry Pi and a RAMBo from just one power supply. I'm not the best at dealing with electronics--I cooked one board already so I'm a little hesitant to experiment on my own. Does anyone have any idea how I could connect the RasPi to the RAMBo so I only have to power the RAMBo?by ryanthejuggler - Controllers
