doesnt the nozzle also need to be replaced? for one that is properly machined? or could someone simply insert a 2mm ID 3mm OD PTFE Tubing and a washer with about 0.25" OD 2mm ID after the set screw to keep the whole thing together?by dragon-fly - Reprappers
Yup, i feel like an idiot. i already ordered some micro drillbits in case my hotend gets clogged up in the future, but its coming from china and i'll be lucky to get it before christmas.... not to mention i dont actually know how im supposed to fix that. i dont have any machinery, just a dremel and a drill. i used to have a 3d printer but as you can see, its no longer operational. i asked him and he was kind to answer quickly the Mark V nozzle does nto fit the Mark I-IV Body, it is different standard, unfortunately he only sells 1.75mm for mark I to IV so it looks like i'll have to go with my original supplier Also, where can i find information on which hotend support PLA? Thanks.by dragon-fly - General
Thanks. i have 3MM filament and a Mark-IV-B Hot end. do you know if a Mark V Brass Nozzle would fit my current PEEK?by dragon-fly - General
hello, i cant seem to get the search function to sort to english results. here is my problem: Like an idiot, i used pliers to try to remove extra oozed out material from my J-head Mark IV-B Brass from makerfarm - which resulted in my damaging the tip. now im in Canada and am wondering if there are better tips/hot ends/cheaper yet better alternatives out there. i've been trying to search about hby dragon-fly - General
where did you manage to get your 1/8" tube? i'm assuming its a 1/4" OD 1/8" ID, like the PTFE Liner in the PEEK of a J-Head. I'm in canada and i've only found one supplier in the UK on ebay and its NOT cheap.by dragon-fly - Reprappers
indeed, what you say is pretty much similar to wha ti've found in the short time span that ive had to play in this field. I've already tweaked the current to my motors, they are all very quiet on movement and do not heat up that much, they are at best lukewarm. only my extruder motor gets warmer than lukewarm as i did have a lot of issues with it jamming, which might be due to bad ABS/other factby dragon-fly - General

Hello all, i'm not sure where to post this so i will post it here. I Have just recently built my first 3d printer and i have had TONS of issues, such as filament clogging up, filament being chewed up, prints shifting, oozing, etc, you name it. i have finally solved all of those problems (atleast i hope so), but i have one MASSIVE issue. Noise. when my X Carriage moves/jitters a lot, the noiby dragon-fly - General
