I've been wanting to upgrade some parts on my prusa i3 for quite some time (planning on hephestos with a Greg wades adapter). However, I don't know which extruder is best. It seems every time I try to search for Greg wades extruder, several different types of extruders are shown and it gets confusing. It'd be nice to know which is the most recent model, or the best performing one out of all of thby MrBret - General
Recently I made my first Prusa i3 printer. It works great and is printing the objects exactly as I need them. However, during a build with white material, I will occasionally get brown spots on the build; most likely burned material. Sometimes it's small blobs (1-2mm) and sometimes it's larger blobs (5-7mm). I'm okay with it when it's just inside the build as support material, but it looks bad whby MrBret - Reprappers
I recently assembled my first Prusa i3 rework by Replikeo, and I had a question about the extruder fan. Although it's great that I can tell when it's on, I was if there was some way of turning it off (through the software) until a print job has started. This is the fan that is near the extruder.
