I think really large objects might warp if you're unlucky, but I haven't had any warping at room temperature. I take off the bed just to get an even coat. I didn't think about it messing with the smooth rods. Over time I think it would build up and make it harder to move along the smooth rods, but wont really stop them. So if you can, I think you should take off the bed to spray on the adhesive.by Beng_ - General
I found that Micador Spray Adhesive (acid free!) works very well for PLA on glass. I have tried this with the bed temp at room temperature and at 70C. They worked very well both times. Just use a very light coat and it can be reused many times. I haven't tried, but i'm sure it would work just as well of any other plastic used. The spray adhesive comes off very easy in hot water. Thankyou. I found that my Z tower is leaning quite a bit. Thankyou for the help!by Beng_ - General
I am new to 3d printing and I have a problem! In the image above there are certain positions. The nozzle is the correct height from the bed in positions X, Y and Z.\ But when it goes the the position F it llifts about 1mm off the bed. In the positions L and R it digs into the bed. What would be my problem here? Please help.by Beng_ - General
I am new to 3d printing and I am having a bit of trouble! I am using this firmware on a RAMPS 1.4 board. I want to adjust the offsets in the image above but I can't find the commands to set them. I can set the XYZ values using the M666 command, but I can't find the LRF commands for my firmware. Or does my firmware not have these offsets?by Beng_ - Printing
It finished after about 3 hours, but it completely stuffed up my machine. When it prints, the dimensions are off by a heap and the bed leveling is worse than before.by Beng_ - General
I am new to 3d pprinting and I just used the G30 A command on my delta printer. It has been going for about an hour now and hasn't stopped probing. Is this normal?by Beng_ - General
Ah I found why it is so bad quality on the sides. The bolts holding the end effector are coming loose and it has some play in it. But I still don't know why it's doing that to the top part. Could it be the slicer I am using?by Beng_ - Printing
Hello! I recently built my own delta 3D printer and I am having a few problems! I am printing PLA at 185C with a 0.4mm nozzle. The top didn't quite come out as planned. either did the sides of it. On the corners of the cube it kind of sticks out a little. I am using curaengine with repetier host for slicing. This is my first 3d printer and I have only had it running for the past few days.
