Quotetjnamtiw Quote4dPrinter I tested a printer from Aliexpress. I have now 3 3d printers, and I have to say, although the quality isn't the best, the 3d printer from Aliexpress is by far the most reliable and the one which is easiest to handle. I would suggest to buy this printer to any newcomer... And which one is that? This one:by 4dPrinter - General

A friend of mine bought his first 3d printer from Aliexpress, and he's printing like mad ever since.by 4dPrinter - General
I've always been very happy with whatever I ordered on AliExpress. I don't think everything there is scam and fake. Back on topic: Anyone ordered such a device?by 4dPrinter - General
I'm aware of possible issues with AliExpress. There are 3d printers with more than 1800 ratings, over 97 % of them positive, so I don't think it's a scam.by 4dPrinter - General
AliExpress sells 3d printers for as low as $ 220 (for an i3 prusa). Are these printers qualitatively good? Did anyone order such a 3d printer? How can they be so cheap (that goes for all things on AliExpress, so I think the question is rhetoric only)?by 4dPrinter - General
Do you use the user repository? I use slic3r and printrun-bin (!) from the AUR and it now works as well. :-)by 4dPrinter - General
Ah, yes, that's what I did. I copy/pasted an error message.by 4dPrinter - General
Maybe. Glad it's working now. Sorry for the spam.by 4dPrinter - General
Hi I built my first 3d printer. An i3 prusa. It seems to work! Woohoo! On Archlinux, I use printrun to move the printhead around and as far as I can tell, this works like a charm. If I understood correctly, I now need a slic3r to actually print something. When I try to start slic3r from printrun (pronterface), it tells me python: can't open file 'skeinforge/skeinforge_application/skeinforge.pyby 4dPrinter - Slic3r
Oh, wow, now it worked! Too bad I did write a long post before, putting about 30 minutes of time into it, only to be told afterwards that I'm a bot. What did I do wrong?by 4dPrinter - General
Why can't I post anything? It always tells me that I'm a bot. I'm quite sure to not be a bot (though, who knows?).by 4dPrinter - General
