Ok, so a schematic for extraction:

The size may not be related to the quantity extracted, but more about the capability to remove.
My experience shown that while my initial setup (~115 cm2 x 0.5 cm - 58 cm3 of mattress - which is NOT pure activated carbon, sort of a unknown compound for kitchen filter) was stopping the odor (no odor in the recycling chamber), it was not removing it from the printer. I set four layers and now I ha

Ah, I was thinking the Cubicon was recirculating. What is the point to extract inside the room ?
I understand the interest to extract outside room, but extraction in the room is the worst. However, the Cubicon filter does not seems very large (from film, look here : ). I like the simplicity of their cartridge system.

I think to add the following image on the wiki in the Health and safety page at Filtration paragraph.
Any comment on the below image/text ? or on the filtration paragraph itself

I have built a wood boxed printer using an (irregular) hexagonal frame. . The hexagonal frame is not stiffer than a triangular one, but required to let room for moving parts when there is panels or bracing.
Whats makes the ensemble stiff is the panels, which add shear resistance between the "towers", which are in my case the panels themselves. The overall stiffness of this closed box is much h

* C'est très stable dimensionnellement, surtout si on protège les chants avec une peinture solvantée NON microporeuse
* La mélamine produit de l'azote en cas d'incendie, tendant à faire de l'auto-extinction
* C'est moins cher
* La peinture est nettement plus simple (seulement les chants)

I don't know how you think to build your plate, but something like the image below may transfer belt load better and might be lighter and easier to assemble (note that it is for Nema 17, so proportions are not ok)

The safety is existing from some time, but was not adjustable (was locked at 300°C).
Note that I already had triggers (at 300°C) on former version of RRF-DC42 and it does stop the hotend heating, but not the printing, which drive the extruder to click-click at it cannot extrude at low temp.
It is noted in the wiki page that it may start an emergency stop, but if it does not have been modified si

When you search a G-code for RepRap Firmware, always have a look at the Wiki page RepRap Firmware G-codes .
The M143 is tagged 'new' as it is a recent implementation.

A bit more fun , but a bit more complexity, I made a simulation for a boxed version, in the 'Lily' form factor.
That gives that :
The simulator version to use (with associated utilities) is the Lily version here :
The data set (with added programming for components) is
Beware : the data are not the default of the file, you shall browse down to the Lily 'X' parameters .

Corrected with your values for effector offset : 45mm and carriage offset 33, I had to increase a bit the diameter of the printer
With 22° mini and 62.3° max, the usable diameter is 480mm, which is near perfect for a bed 500mm dia.

My advice was wrong, better to use the Fisher as a base data set.
I made a quick simulation with rod diam 20, spaced 80, arms spaced 80, effector offset 36, carriage offset 35, arms 520 center to center.
I found with mini angle 22.5 and max 62.6 a usable diameter of 483mm. With effector offset of 36mm , you may have in principle space to set three 40mm fans without conflicting with rods.

Why didn't you run the OpenScad simulator here :
It does have simulation with rods, so that could be pretty accurate . Note that with rod simulation, the reference radius is the plane which goes in the rod axis. Look the Rostock max data set.
It can run arms over 90° .
However, what will not be shown and is very important for printable diameter is part cooling fans. They often conflict with

Since January, I've enclosed the printer and I am also preparing a 'from scratch' version with Hexagon hotend.
I renamed the printer 'Lily F' , with Lily being the generic name for the wooden box form factor, which will be used with different mechanics.
Yet GitHub address is unchanged :

Extract of a (yet) unpublished commisssioning page:
Generally (this is not the case for all systems), the sensing need more force in the center of the bed, so a larger offset, as while sensing in the center, you have to actuate three sensors/springs while only one sensor is needed near the c

Ok Dario, I have been a bit too quick and had not understood that you were only using the pi for sending images, as an standalone IP camera.
In fact, what you are giving in configuration tab is a IP port adress on your pi, and that is sufficient to get an image ? The Ilamatrails comment imply you do have to configure something on the pi to send camera output to this port ? with specific raspber

Thank you Dario but I am interested by Duet Web Control integration, because indeed it remove the need of a RaspBerry Pi , making the Duet an all purpose board without adding any other hardware than a low cost camera.
BTW, there is another potential camera by KKmoon, which in addition to IP connection do have Wifi and local SD storage, for quite the same cost. Problem is I did not find valid rev

I am working on the doc of the Duet and I would like to have some information about the IP camera integration.
Can someone having made such installation send a screen copy with a real printer in the view ? On this forum this is ok, else send me a pm
Also, I would like to have some information how it does work. From what I understood, the webcam shall send still images to a static address and the

Bed levelling on the Fisher is more complex than for others machines because the force to activate the probe varies significatively with the position of the hotend, as it pushes from one to three springs. So the machine deformation varies for each probe point. The offset variation between points may vary from 0.2 to 0.07 depending the spring force, the belt tension and the quality of assembly.

A while ago I heard that it was planned to have a function to run macro when the extruder endstop is triggered.
Has it been implemented yet? I am planning to add some sort of filament sensor to the Duet
There is a new command M581 (and M582) which was documented on 22 march, where an endstop status change could trigger a macro, an emergency stop or a pause.

You may have a look here :
For the record, the rostock max from seemeeCNC do have arms which goes past 90°. This is possible because the belts are buried in columns
They recently increased the arm length to something more in line with the annonced usable diameter.
