I had the same issue, the only way I found to have it working was to mess with the pot on the back of the lcd (that's in the back of the actual screen, the green board, not the red pcb) since I couldn't turn it from the side, I drilled a hole and was able to fix it, now it's working fine and animated! You might be able to bend it a bit in order to move it but pay attention to the screen as theby javierespada - Controllers
I just finished building mine and was having similar issues. if you look at the activity log in repetier (bottom of the screen with scrolling text) you might notice a message when you try to move it, if you do that's your first clue. it usually says something about endstop, it could be that your endstop is set backwards or needs to be inverted, also could be the direction of the motor as in #deby javierespada - Prusa i3 and variants
