You should post them Tim (@tadawson) so the group can benefit. I'm a designer so designing "sexy" - I consider a compliment. Tim aka wittmason Quotetadawson Regarding the spool holder, I made some variants of the gear bearing that fit the support from Folger . . . works quite well too, just not as sexy looking . . . - Timby Wittmason - Delta Machines
I know you've already "committed" to the Duet @visad but I replaced my RAMPS with the AZSMZ 32 bit smoothie board clone and I've been real happy with it. I also purchased the LCD but I've been printing a lot with it and I have it setup with the DRV8825 stepper drivers you got earlier. So 1/32nd micro stepping has been enabled and the machine is super quiet and FAST!! I'll shoot a video of it inby Wittmason - Delta Machines
There was no post processing involved. These are basically out of the Folger tech Kossel. No sanding no anything. I hightly suggest everyone follow the delta-calibration link I posted further up in this thread. It has been very enlightening. Follow it and you will have some good quality prints. This was printed at .2mm layer height. Quotejculver09 QuoteWittmason I just posted some adjustable spoby Wittmason - Delta Machines

Is this a really old post? The Folger manual has been done since February? QuoteJunestronger156 Your delayed unit might be a blessing in disguise. You have doctors figuring it out for you. So as a patient, you have less mistakes to worry about. I'm not saying I'm a doctor, but I sure have vested a lot of time putting it together, and some of my notes here should help. @jholst Here is the calibration instructions I followed. Calibration of delta printers There is also a minow blog post that's very similar to the link attached. So there is a FolgerTech build thread going for 26 pages that I am contributing to and I have bought this board and would like to implement it with my delta. There are many experiences being shared there on the product (which is the printer kit). That said I have been in touch with AFKer and it really makes sense to chat about and disseminate information about products we use. INCLUDING this one.by Wittmason - Controllers
For positioning and sending Gcodes you will still use Pronterface. For printing Cura will be what you can use. I'm going to try Repetier Host for Mac as it looks like it can do both better. The Pronterface bug comes about when you try to print or send files to the machine.by Wittmason - Delta Machines
Sadly this is a well documented error on the Mac. I guess someone else built the Mac .pkg and we Mac folks are kind of screwed because they left their user directory in the path. I started using Cura instead. Quotecman8 hey guys. Finally got around to start trying to print. I followed the manual to the T. I did put more power to the extruder motor as it kept skipping. I cut my rods exactly in half and then cut them all the same length. When adding in the traxxas ends - I ended up having 288mm arms. Which leaves about 170mm build height. You could adjust the rail up and that height then can be raised about 70-100mm. As long as you make the change in the firmware the rod length doesn't seem to matter or be a hindrance. You certainly have to change the 253.6 measby Wittmason - Delta Machines
Haha yeh the mechanical fixes were from me. Funny I was referred to that. This is more or less not enough torque from the motor. I eyed that extruder on Thingiverse for awhile. I think I'll try that.by Wittmason - Delta Machines
BIG PROPS to @Visad!! I had tried the Folger based Marlin firmware for most of the day yesterday and it was marginal at best. My Z axis kept acting up nothing was doing what it was supposed to. So I decided to load Visad firmware with my changes and VOILA!!! I have a working well machine. The first firmware borked my heatbed fuse (I believe) so I don't have bed heating but its seeming to work soby Wittmason - Delta Machines
Yes for my part I had to have more clearance since my z index degraded the taller things got. So the taller the z index the further I had to move away. My part on my cartesian printer was 185mm tall. Be careful printing too hot with the as shipped state of that hotend. It has a plastic ptfe tube in it. It will start to melt/burn at about 240+ or so. Which will mean you replaced a mess with another mess. A bit further back I recommended getting a new barrel for that hotend which is all metal - that means no melting of the ptfe tube because there isn't one. You can mount the ramps board anywhere you want. If you use a usb extension cable then the ramps can go where ever. You will need to get some new stepper wire bundles that are longer but those are relatively easy to come by.by Wittmason - Delta Machines

A nice clean way to fix the extrusion system is to get a new hotend throat. The one inside the fake E3D has ptfe tubing in it. You won't be able to get beyond 240c with that hotend in its current state.
