Quotednewman Did you add code to support yet another SPI device? No I have not done any modification. It is not possible do have the 2 SD reader supported ? For example at the boot test if a card is present on the integrated slot, if not test the external reader ?by shofman - Controllers
Hi everyone, DC42 has made a new version 1.15 beta 6 : Changelog : Add support for second SD card on SPI bus for Duet WiFi including Is the SPI bus supported on RADDS with 1.14 or older ? I have tried to connect a Micro SD SPI module with no luck. (the CD pin was not used) When the module is connected, the RADDS can not read the SD card, even in the integrated slot. Someone has ever tried ?by shofman - Controllers
Repetier don't use the same configuration with the Z probe. With RRF, we must use the PWM3 pin. The PWM3 seems 5V, so my question.... As nobody answer me, I still use 3.3v, with 1mA signal. What steppers do you use ? DRV8825 are very bad my RADDS.by shofman - Controllers
QuoteAK_Eric I have that config right now (well Dan's RAADS port of the dc42 firmware) working successfully. You have to get a special cut of Octoprint for it to work with RRF though, and install a custom Octoprint plugin. I outline this here: Eric, do you know if Octoprint will upload config files in the future, like the Duet Web interface can do ?by shofman - Controllers
Hi everyone, About Z probe configuration : what is the maximum voltage that can accept the PWM3 pin ? 5V or 3.3 ? And what is the minimum required current to have a good signal ? 1mA is it enough ? I will use a capacitive sensor Ljc18a3-h-z/bx. Thanksby shofman - Controllers
Hello, I have the same problem than you with my endstops. The Mechanical Endstop Module V1.2 are NO, and I don't understand why I can't use them in NC mode. I can wire only Signal and Ground, but it does not change anything. So my solution : If you want NC, you must change the endstops... This model should work NC mode :by shofman - Controllers
Your motors are 0.9°, and mine are 1.8° So if i use 1/32 and you use 1/16, we are in the same configuration ? So I suppose this kind of tune is not very important ?by shofman - Controllers
Ok thanks. About steppers : is there any interest to use 1/64, 1/128 or 1/256 configuration ? My motors are : 17HS16-2004Sby shofman - Controllers
Your config.g for the kossel pleaseby shofman - Controllers
Quotedc42 Quoteshofman Thanks Dnewman... I will stay with M569 because it just works. About the RAPS128 : is there any interest to use 1/64 or 1/128 configuration ? My motors are : 17HS16-2004S M569 still sets forward/backwards and the polarity of the enable signal. It's just the driver mapping that's moved to M584. DC42, can you send your config file please ?by shofman - Controllers
Thanks Dnewman... I will stay with M569 because it just works. About the RAPS128 : is there any interest to use 1/64 or 1/128 configuration ? My motors are : 17HS16-2004Sby shofman - Controllers
Hi everyone, My RAPS128 are now in the printer. I've switched to 1.14 firmware. Can someone explain how to specify forward /backward and to invert the signal with the new M584 command ? Thanks. Edit : M569 command still works on RADDS...by shofman - Controllers
I was on Repetier. the LCD worked great with it. I've switched to RRF (1.13): only the SDCard reader and the reset switch are functionnal. Do you have a layout of your RRD Graphic Display ?by shofman - Duet
Hi, Im' using RADDS, and I'm very interested by your solution. My LCD screen was configured like this : Hope it will help you.by shofman - Duet
QuoteGroupB Elmo_C got a graphic lcd working on a duet with RRF firmware , off course he using some kind of serial adaptor but since we already have the lcd pinout expose is there a easy way to port his software work into the radds using the ldc pin we have ? Replacing his serial connection with the LCD pin directly on the Due? it is only a replacing the pinout in the firmware or its go furtherby shofman - Controllers
Hi Dnewman, What's new on your 1.14 firmware ?by shofman - Controllers
Ok thanks men for your informations.by shofman - Controllers
Ok forget the config file for the board. It's not possible to make a test that can determine the board under the firmware before startup and load the config files on SD card ? Like searching the SD card I/O ? If you know the pins on RADDS and Duet and they are not the same, it make sense ? The goal of that is only to support selected boards.by shofman - Controllers
Look at the AK_Eric blog : Many good informations...by shofman - Controllers
GroupB, you're right ! My printer is not funcitonal yet... But I have some noise problem with the motors if I do many moves (absolute for now) in a short time. And I will switch my steppers to raps128 too... Dnewman and DC42, is there any chance to have in the future only one RRF version, and only have to modify some specific parameters in a file to use the selected hardware ?by shofman - Controllers
What is the maximum step rate that I can use ?by shofman - Controllers
Dnewman, can i use your 1.13a firmware with DVR8825 steppers ? Should I replace them by raps128 ? Thanksby shofman - Controllers
Quoteo_lampe Best way will be to extend the external SD_card port to the outside of the enclosure and also wire the reset pin to a panel. . I will do this... and it will do the job.by shofman - Controllers
Quoteo_lampe Where would I put my z-probe connectors? On a duet it'd be the E0 endstop, but I've found no dokumentation about it on doku.radds..... Searching the forum for showed each comment where radds was included. WTF does all words mean then? Hi, you can use the PWM3 port for the Z-probe. then confiure the Line M558 P4 X0 Y0 Z1 H3 F300 T12000 Nothing else to do @++by shofman - Controllers
For our english friends : I'm agree that Iby shofman - Controllers
Quotednewman I use an Octopi with my RRF on RADDS. Works great. There is a mismatch in SD card file ops between OP and RRF, there being no "standard" for how the gcode/mcode commands work. Earlier in this thread AK_Eric worked with the OP folks -- Mark Walker namely -- to get OP updated to be able to work with RRF correctly. (OP was, for instance, forcing SD card file paths to have a leadingby shofman - Controllers
... And Octoprint could be a solution for the LCD too ?by shofman - Controllers
Thanks Dnewman & Dc42 for your answers. As I prefer using the LCD, do you think that hardwired LCD display will be supported in the future (for RADDS) ? The wifi is optional, another solution is to use octoprint for example. @++by shofman - Controllers
