Hey guys, We were recently introduced to 3D scanning for an elective at school, we had to explore 3D scanning methods and these are the results. Video Here. We played with structured light scanning, red line scanning and 123D catch. Structured light and red line scanning didn't work too well, 123D catch was awesome though. Update: We just updated our Prusa structure! We call it the 'Titan' We aimed for a compact, streamlined and aesthetically pleasing design. It was suppose to be made of aluminium, however we ran into too many problems with the waterjet cutter at our school and we didn't want to use plastic so wood was our preferred resort.
