Has anyone looked into the the new Pololu DRV8825 carrier? Since it's a drop-in replacement for the A4988 carrier, but is compatible with 3.3V logic, it seems to me that that it would solve most of the 3.3V vs 5V problems associated with the Due. I could be absolutely wrong, I haven't had a chance to thoroughly research the DRV8825 carrier yet, I just ran across it this morning.

Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Thanks triffid. All it needed was a bit of PID tweaking. I had actually overlooked the fact that PID was turned on, I had noticed my heater cycling like bang-bang would, and just assumed that's how I had it configured. (I've tried one too many firmwares apparently)... I do have to say, Teacup seems to be the best Arduino firmware out there right now. You guys have done (are doing) a great job

Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
I just downloaded the latest Teacup firmware, and it seems to be randomly waiting for the extruder temperature. Printing with PLA, that is of course disastrous, as large puddles of plastic form where it's waiting. I haven't fully troubleshot it yet, I also turned on firmware retract at the same time. The wait cycle seems to happen randomly. When it was running through pronterface, I had happe

Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
So, after turning off Reprap style acceleration in the firmware, I was able to control the extruder stepper through direct G codes. However the host software and Replicator G still do not move the extruder...

Firmware - mainstream and related support
I've built a reprap using RAMPS 1.2, and Mega 2560. I'm using the latest version of the host software and Tonokip firmware. All of the electronics work (motors, drivers, stops, etc). The only problem I have is that I can't get the extruder to turn. The driver in that slot works (when I move it to another axis it's fine), and the motor works as well.
I've tried sending G1 Exxx codes to the bo
