I'm having a bit of a problem with the prints lifting at the ends ( in the loops).
I think it may be because they're so thin. anyone else had these problems, anyone got any suggested solutions?

I would definitely be interested in one.
I use pronterface predominantly to interact with my printer. When I start a print from the SD however pronterface doesn't update things like temperatures, positions, percentage of print done or expected print time remaining.
Would this LCD remain active when printing from SD, USB or Ethernet cable?

Hi all
In most of the pictures on the Ormerod Wiki build site (e.g. ) there appears to be "suspension feet" under the legs of the ormerod.
I would assume these are to reduce the effect of vibration into and out of the machine as it prints.
Does anyone have stls for these or know where to get them?
Cheers

would the position you want the hot end to move to be different each time?
would the position be relative to where the hot end was at power up or the absolute axis system?

Firmware - mainstream and related support
Hi all
I've got an ormerod that I've just updated the firmware on. I went from 57a-16-01-214 to 065e-13-05-214.
It appears that the y axis homing sequence has changed. The bed used to (with 57a) move all the way to the end stop, such that the hot end was at its highest y axis, then move such that the hot end ended at y axis =0.
Now all it does is move the bed such that the hot end is decreasi

Hi all
I've just turned my ormerord on at the power source and the hot end fan didn't turn on. I've had it working before but now it seems to have stopped but I don't remember changing anything. has anyone else had a similar problem?

Hi Ian
Sorry aboutthe long wait. I was under the impression that I would receive an email when you replied but I didn't and only just today came on to see if anything way here, turns out there had been for quite a while.
I went out and bought a 100k ohm resister which i placed in the circuit instead of the thermister. The circuit then was working (giving a reading of -2.4deg). Then I checked th

Hi Ian
Just a quick question as I'm struggling to get my thermistor in my hotend working (it keeps displaying -273).
I've connected it up correctly (as far as I can tell) and when I disconnect it from the control board and check the resistance of the thermistor circuit with my multimeter it returns a resistance of about 125-130 K-ohms, which seemed about right.
I then figured to test the cont

Australia, Melbourne RUG
Hi All
I have 2 .stl files that I need to have printed, just need rough versions, not perfect or anything.
I live in Melbourne Australia. I would be willing to pay for materials shipping (and some beer as well) If someone was willing to print them and send them to me.
Reply back if willing.
Cheers Mate
