Hi again, I finally found the error... It was a problem of approximation of steps (so a programming problem). Actually, for each call of the function "calculate_steps", it approximated the steps to do, end the errors was accumulating as the print continued, and explains the gaps between each layer. I hope the explanation is clear, and is not, just tell me ! MaxPro3Dby MaxPro3D - General Mendel Topics
Hi, Thanks for your responses. I try some of them : 1) I tried to slice a cube with Cura and there was still a shift in the X axis. 2) About the current, I noticed the voltage over the different resistors for each motors and in average there is 110mA crossing the resistors so I think this is not the problem. 3) There is maybe a problem with the smooth rod because we ear a little noise. We wilby MaxPro3D - General Mendel Topics
Hi everyone, I wrote a new firmware based on Sprinter to use my new electronics based on RAMPS1.4 for a school project and when I start the printing, the first 2 layers print quite well and then each layer is shift in the X axis. I don't understand because there is no information on this in Slic3r and I work only in absolute coordinates. Can someone help me ? Hi, Actually I wrote a new version of Sprinter (keeping the g-code reader and changing the stepper command), and it works correctly (with some little bugs). If you want we can set up a skype I am available on thursday afternoon. I sent you an MP with my skype adress.by MaxPro3D - General Mendel Topics
Hi Jordan, Thanks for you response. I will test this the next week but I think it's not the problem. Indeed when I create a sketch like this : #include int nbPas = 200; int trMin = 30; int pas = 200; // Moteur X int XEN = 45; // X-EN int AX = 47; // AX int BX = 44; // BX int CX = 50; // CX : modif : 40=41 (sans doute faux contact) int DX = 39; // DX Stepper MX (nbPas, AX, BX, CX, DXby MaxPro3D - General Mendel Topics
Hi every one, I'm currently working, with my project group, on a new version of a PCB using L298 for Mendel printer. Our PCB is working well, and now we are adapting Sprinter to our PCB. We have some troubles because we use the "stepper.h" library and the .step function in the ISR(TIMER1_COMPA_vect) function. Unfortunately it doesn't work and we don't see where is the mistake. For example, whenby MaxPro3D - General Mendel Topics
Thank you for this piece of advice. I uploaded png files for the 2 PCBs with little corrections : there were missing decoupling capacitors near the differents L298's VCC.by MaxPro3D - General Mendel Topics
Hi everyone ! We are "ImpPro3D" a french project group from the Ecole Centrale de Lille and we work on a special version of the Original Mendel which is designed for researchers. We aim to propose an open source 3D printer which provide a fully-change-parameter user interface. This interface will give the possiblity to the researcher to change the diameter of the filament, the temperature of theby MaxPro3D - General Mendel Topics
Bonjour ! Nous sommes deux étudiants de l'Ecole Centrale de Lille et nous proposons le projet ImpPro3D.
