All, I found the problem. X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER < LEFT_PROBE_BED_POSITION If you do like mine below, it will cause a -X value in the G29 code. Hope this help. #define LEFT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 30 #define RIGHT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 165 #define BACK_PROBE_BED_POSITION 165 #define FRONT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 30 // these are the offsets to the prob relative to the extruder tip (Hotend - Probby danlyc - General Mendel Topics
Guys, I need some help. I managed to setup Auto level with a Servo. Everything seem to be good and it was working. Some issue with homing where it doesn't raise high enough for the probe and eventually broke it. I repair the probe and did a new calculation 1. Move the Extruder to a dot 2. G92 X0 Y0 Z0 3. Raise the Extruder and lower the probe using M280 P0 S0 4. Do the normal and the use M1by danlyc - General Mendel Topics
Alex, Do you still want to perform the "semi auto" EEPROM test? I am ok if you need help. Cheers Danielby danlyc - General Mendel Topics
Alex, Do you know if you have help to create a semi auto level? Instead of it doing it every time, it will be manually trigger and the setting can be stored in the EEPROM. thanks Danielby danlyc - General Mendel Topics
Guys, Anyone manage to get it to work with the repetier firmware? I am using Marlin and I want to test the semi auto bed leveling. Using both 0.83 and 0.9 and it don't work. It connect then seem to hang with pending 7 commands. Can some share some thoughts? thanks Danielby danlyc - General Mendel Topics
Thanks. I think because it is a switching power supply, the current depend on consumption. This is just my assumption I believe this is the reason that direct attached is faster compare to via RAMP board. But no complain for now. At least it is working. Probably will try other method. Try the relay way but the clicking is killingby danlyc - General Mendel Topics
Hi Alex, Is there anyway to pause the system after the calibration? I don't have any servo right now. Was thinking to use manual L angle bracket with the end stop. Attached it to the head during calibration. Once done, remove it and then continue printing. Thanks.by danlyc - General Mendel Topics
Using a 14 A 24V switching power supply. Any idea on the firmware setting?by danlyc - General Mendel Topics
Just see if anyone is in the same situation. Using direct 24V to the heatbed, I give up to 100 in about 5 mins. But using the 24V thru RAMPS1.4 it will take up to 15mins. Is there anything I need to change in the firmware so that it draw more current? I have try using the M303 auto tune but it always time out. thanks Danielby danlyc - General Mendel Topics
Guys, I need some help. I just gotten a heatbed from Ebay. I have wired it according to the wiki. This is my problem. When I connect it to the RAMP board, it doesn't heat up. I measure that there is zero voltage on the D08. I connect direct to my 20A 12V power supply, and the power supply auto off. I remove it and it will work. I measure the resistance, there is only about 1ohm across theby danlyc - General Mendel Topics
Guys, I need some advice. It was working till I uploaded a new Marlin firmware When I connect to the printer, if I manual trigger the endstop, it will react immediately and stop moving. When I click the Home button, everything will move in place. Everything is tidy. But after that, if I manually trigger the endstop, it doesn't work anyone. M119 will save that "trigger" but the motor will stilby danlyc - Repetier
