You are completely right. We actually figured that out later today when still looking for the reasons to that problem. I just logged on to post my solution here.

Printing
I am trying to print a gear, but all the vertical edges are "reverse barrel"-shaped. I have attached a few pictures to demonstrate this. What could be the source of this problem?
The problem is in both the teeth () and the hub (). It is not even on all sides, as you can see by comparing those two pictures. The size of the error is about 1 millimeter.
Is this:
a) Mechanical issue
b) Cooling/heat

I am trying to print an arc like object that I need to print supports for. I do not feel that I need to print a raft under it and the bottom is also smoother if it is directly on the bed.
I have set Skeinforge Raft module so that the raft and interface layer counts are zero. Normally my first layer starts at Z=0.2 mm, but for whatever reason with Raft doing the supports the first layer starts at
