Where can I change the speed for first layer perimeter? I have used paper to set nozzle from the bed, it just seems to curl up on the very start of the layer, then it drags the rest of it around.
Also 2 corners always seem to life, what could cause that?
Any thoughts on why the dimensions are wrong?
Thanks for the advice.

MUCH better!!
But all the dimensions are out a bit. One side is a bit to big and the other is a bit to small, and all the holes are to small. Is this down to calibration of the printer?
I'm still having an issue of the first layer sticking, I've slowed it down to 5mm/s and its helped a bit. I've also changes the temp settings on the bed a nozzle, what else can improve this?
Thanks for all the

I had it set like that because there was gaps in the infill and this seemed to sort it. I didn't change it back after i had calibrated it so I'll see what effect that has. Thanks

Ok, I'll give that go.
I've uploaded some screen shots of my settings, if anyone could take the time to look at them and let me know what I could/should change, that would really help. Thanks

I have downloaded Kisslicer but not to sure how to set it up for my printer. I'm new to 3d printing so it's all a big learning curve at the moment.

I measured the filament at 1.72 and set that in Slic3r and have also set my E steps. I've been trying for the last 3 weeks to get one good print now.

I've just spent the whole day calibrating my reprappro within an inch of its life and spending the last week messing about with Slic3r settings.
Why am I still getting the results in the attached image??
Please help??
I was trying to get Skeinforge working but could not get rid of the blobs. I thought Slic3r would of been a bit easier.

It is set to 0.35, I'll change it and see what effect that has. Thanks

I've got a reprappro mendel mono, using PLA. Bed temp at 60.
How can I get rid of this blobbing problem? I was told the nozzle temp is to high, I've changed the temp in the "Temperature" setting but it still has a nozzle temp of 200 when it prints. Where can I change this?
What would be the best settings for printing in skeinforge and what tab are they under in Skeinforge?
All I want is one go

Skeinforge
Ok moved head closer to bed, but when it starts to print Slic3r is telling the head to sit higher. Any thoughts on why this is happening?
I've been trying to get one good print from my raprappro since i built the thing 3 weeks ago!! Is it meant to be this hard!!?

What I don't understand though is how it changes the height of the head? I was using paper to set the height but it did not seem accurate enough so I thought I'd try a business card. I'll go back to the paper and see how I get on.
Thanks

I've leveled my bed to 0.38mm. I then create a gcode file in Slic3r save it, load it into Skienforge.
When it starts to print the head is then 1.16mm off the bed and the PLA will not stick.
I've tried changing the Z offset but this does nothing, when I print in Skeinforge I do not have this problem.
Any ideas on how I can sort this out?
Thanks

I've checked my calibration and it was fine, I'll check the flow amount.
Will a lower number on the flow give less blobs?
Thanks

Hi, Been trying to get to grips with Skeinforge but decided to come back to Slic3r. I'm new to repraps and Slic3r so any help would go a long way.
I've got a reprappro mendel and am getting these results you see in the pictures. Could anyone advice on what settings need changing in Slic3r?
1. Bad corner. It seems to be really uneven in one corner, the others are not the best but this side is al

Thanks for all the help on this. You was right about the Y axis, the belt was slack.
Attached is a model I designed for an idea and also some image on what it printed. If you could guide me on how I could improve it, it would be much appreciated.
I feel like it's improving but still a way to go.
How can I improve the printing dimensions of the print, they are coming out a bit to small?

I've uploaded more images to give a better idea of the problems I'm having.
Image 1. Is this caused from the print starting in the same place every time?
Image 2. It now seems to start from a new point on the print after the first 2/3 layers. You can see in image 3 that it then wants to add it to other end of the print. Is this caused by the mother jumping, or is it down to the STL file? The f

Since changing the settings I'm now getting what you see in the pic. It's a 25mm cube, it prints the first 2 layers fine but then prints half the 3rd layer way off the 2nd one. Any thoughts on what could cause this?

Thanks. Sorry one last question for now... I've changed the temerature to 190 in "Temperature" but it stays at 200 when printing, is this the correct place to change the setting?

Ok, thanks.
Could you advice on which one, Oozebane or Oozestep? Is it just a case of playing with the settings or is there a standard?
Could you also advice on where i can change the extrusion and where to adjust the backlash? None of the names in the settings mean much to me at the moment.
Thanks

Hi, New here and new to repraps and could really do with some advice. Hope this is posted in the correct place.
As you can see from the picture, it's not the best looking print. What are the causes and what settings do I need to change/tweak in skeinforge to improve the print quality?
1. What causes the string and how can I fix this?
2. What causes the blobs on each layer and how can this been
