I have a da Vinci printer with a ramps 1.4 board modification. Everything works fine except, when you try to execute a print Using Repetier Host, the bed lifts to the proper print point then drops about 15 mm. That's when it starts to air print. I'm guessing it's my marlin settings but I just can't figure out which one. Anybody out there have an idea how I can fix this?by Lennie1972 - Printing

What would be your recommendation? Probably not attempt to use it with the ramps board. I hate I wasted the moneyby Lennie1972 - RAMPS Electronics
I researched every forum I could find that had info on how to install it and I followed the instructions to the letter. I connected it to a 5v pin and a ground pin and it shorted as soon as I tried to turn it onby Lennie1972 - RAMPS Electronics

I have a pt100 that I tried to install on my ramps board. It ended up shorting out components on the board. It also ended up shorting out the amplifier. Has anyone else tried to install one successfully and if so how? I need all the help I can getby Lennie1972 - RAMPS Electronics
Did anyone ever find an answer to this problem??? I'm having the same problem. It didn't start until I uploaded Marlin firmware. Every time I try to connect to Repetier, the Maxtemp pops up and I can't get it to go away. I put Marlin back exactly the way it was prior to the error and I still get Maxtemp.by Lennie1972 - Sanguino(lolu)
