Thanks for the fast reply. Finally I figured it out what it was. There was a really tiny connection between 2 solder points on the Adapter pcb that connects the Ramps board with the cables. Now it works like a charmby _Alex_ - Repetier
I recently upgraded my reprap with the new 0.91 Repetier Firmware and also installed a RepRapDiscount Smart Controller The problem is that I don´t get any meaningful text displayed but something like this: At first I thought, that it is a interference from other cables but it´s always the same and when I spin the encoder it changes. So I think that it is maybe caused by the software. This wouby _Alex_ - Repetier
Hey, found something new. This is almost exactly what I was looking for.by _Alex_ - 3D Design tools
This looks the most promising of what I´ve found so far but it is hard to find any further information about it.by _Alex_ - 3D Design tools
Hey guys, I´ve got an idea but I´m not sure how to realize it. Maybe someone else is able to help me. So I thought about a cad makro that allows you to connect different points/parts, which you have defined before. What I mean is that for example you define the place where your battery-pack should be placed, the mounting plate for your motor and the wheels ,the place where the electronics areby _Alex_ - 3D Design tools
I´m just observing that my x-axis stops moving after G91 has been sent. I´m using Marlin 1.0. I think it is a firmware bug. When I send M114 to get the position that the printer thinks it is at the moment the x coordinates change but it doesn´t move the carriage in reality. Does anybody have similar problems?by _Alex_ - Firmware - mainstream and related support
yes I´ve already looked at that site and I thought about something like this but more accurate, with an enclosure and with holes in the disk instead of revlective and none revlective stripes. I ´ll make something like that when I have more time for it than now.by _Alex_ - Experimental and Hobby
hey I´m just looking for a cheap dc motor with an optical quadrature encoder but I´m wondering why all of these encoders are that expensive in relation to the actually relatively simple technology behind it(just leds and phototransistors for a simple one). So I thought that it would be great if we would have a simple printable encoder that fits or is sizable to fit most of the small dc motors. Soby _Alex_ - Experimental and Hobby
I also have tried "cool" to slow down the upper layers, but the problem with it, is that it makes a big blob on the top of the pyramid because the top is just a tiny area. I think it would be necessary to change skeinforge that it reduces automatically the speed while printing small "islands". that would also allow to print fine details in layers where are big areas too which can be made much fby _Alex_ - Skeinforge
Hi, I´m actual prinitng the hollow pyramide test object ( ) and I have to slow down the speed of the print significantly to get good results when printing the pillars, but actually the lower layers could be printed much faster Is it possible to tell skeinforge to slow down the speed when printing fine details and to reaccelerate the speed when printing large areas?by _Alex_ - Skeinforge
Ah hey^^ I am from Wels ,Oberösterreich. Actually we could write in German. I just started in English cause all the other posts are in Englishby _Alex_ - Austria RUG
Hey everybody, I am from Austria and I plan to build a rep rep. I have already made a buying list but I still have some questions. It would be great to be able to speak with others in my near about it. So where are all the Austrians?by _Alex_ - Austria RUG
