Dear all, I have build my own 3d printer and it works. But it wont work when it is unplugged from pc. It has voltage output still but the lcd screen wont power up. I have changed the arduino mega into another one. This time, it powers up the lcd without needing to connect to usb but the lcd shows nothing with pulses of dim light flickering. I am not sure what is my problem. The ramps have d1 d2by RevoCayne - RAMPS Electronics
Hi all, i have successfully make the printer print on bed by experimenting the Axis_Per_Unit values. the current value that i have is 57.5. And i used an autobed leveling help from the sliver software MatterControl. It is quite a good software. Thanks for helping out everyone and point out my problem.by RevoCayne - Delta Machines
Hi Xile6, I've made the changes in my configuration but the one i copied is actually the previous one. Thanks for reminding. Hi o_lampe, I'm using spectra line instead of timing belt. I noticed that i have problems measuring the axis steps per unit. I have a 18mm spool diameter and i have installed A4988 microstepper jumpers, all installed. My motor has 200 steps per revolution, 1.8 deg. I shoby RevoCayne - Delta Machines
Hi Everyone, I am having a problem with my Delta 3D printer which my extruder goes over the Max Z Height to print "below" the printbed. The distance measured from my nozzle tip to the printbed is 127mm. Even after i input the value in marlin delta firmware, the extruder still goes beyond the printbed and print. What is my problem? And i can't get the object to print at the centre of the printbedby RevoCayne - Delta Machines
I have found out the problem. The current flowing into the motor is not enough. Therefore it stuck somewhere making it looks like it moves axis per axis. But that is actually the 2nd rechecking to the endstop. Thanks btw.by RevoCayne - Delta Machines
I have flashed EEPROM_clear to my Arduino Mega and then reflashed the firmware and save the default values into EEPROM already. but the axis still moves one by one when homing. When i press Z+ or Z-. the motors would move together, just not all move at the same amount. When i press autohome, all still move one by one. Please help !!by RevoCayne - Delta Machines
Yes i did load a non delta firmware before. I will try that when i get home. Thanks ! Another question, will the z max position be affected by this? Because when i press print, the effector will either print much above the air or much below the printbed.by RevoCayne - Delta Machines
Dear All, I have issues on homing in my delta printer. When i press autohome, the 3 axis won't go up together and instead they go up one by one and thus stuck. What is my problem? The following is my configuration.h attached. Please help.!! #ifndef CONFIGURATION_H #define CONFIGURATION_H #include "boards.h" // This configuration file contains the basic settings. // Advanced settings can be foby RevoCayne - Delta Machines
Thank you so muchh !!! I have never noticed the microstepper jumpers to be installed in any guides. The motors are working fine now !! Appreciate your fast reply !!by RevoCayne - Delta Machines
Hi everyone, This is my first 3D printer build. I am currently facing the issue of making the stepper motors to work correctly. I'm using Pronterface to test the motors. When i press the home button, the motor just have some high pitch sound and not moving. When i connect the printer with pronterface, i try extruding the filament. The y-wired motor will move downwards. I dont know what problem iby RevoCayne - Delta Machines
Dear All, I'm new to RepRap and electronics. I have connected all my boards just as schematic diagram in RepRap Wiki. I have a LCD controller of RepRap Smart Discount Controller. The LCD lit up but there are no voltage output at D10 when I measured with my digital multimeter. The hot end fan connected to D9 and heated bed connected to D8 having both readings of 12V output. I uses an OEM powerby RevoCayne - RAMPS Electronics
