Problem resolved, turns out i needed to add the enable wire from the ramps 1.4 to the DQ542ma"s as well as enable the the enable xyz in config h.

Hello All i am having a problem with the manual movement of the axis in the soft ware repetier, I move y axis forward with the manual controls, then when i try move it back wards with the manual controls the z axis moves, i am using a arduino mega 2560 with a ramps 1.4 which are driving DQ542ma"s which run the nema 23 motors. even if i send g codes they behave the same . G0 Y100 G28 the

Hello All i am busy building a hybrid cnc/ 3d printer , like this one . i am having some problems with the axis controls through repetier, if i move the y axis forward then it moves, when i select y axis back it moves the z axis? i am using a arduino mega 2560 r3 with a ramps 1.4 to control DQ542ma to run nema 23 motors, i have disabled all end stops. any help thanks Melvin

Hello All I am building a cnc / 3d printer hybrid, I have copied this one, when i move the y axis forward through the manual controls of repetier it moves, but when i try move the y axis back, then the z axis moves? i read some where the firmware i am using might be to old for the new board? if so where do i get the new firmware? thank you Melvin
