I'm really keen to make my own pcb but Gen3 does not lend itself to home production (vias are too small to drill and put wire through). Gen 7 seems ideal for this (I'd still prefer SMT resistors as it saves drilling heaps of holes). The only problem I have is I can't open the files on windows? (I know I could start using Linux but that's a whole different learning curve I don't' have time for).by korban - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
I've got some photos somewhere I could dig out, it's not really a Reprap, it was going to be a CNC router that I was going to put an extruder head onto it to print Reprap parts. Are people (Vik) building Prusa Mendel's or 'Ed' Mendels?by korban - New Zealand RepRap User Group
Long time reader, first time poster. My repstrap (about 50% complete) got damaged in the earthquake It was on the floor in the garage and the liquefaction flooded in and all the doors got jammed shut (due to warping frame). I couldn't get in there quick enough to stop stuff rusting! Haven't touched it since I think I'll just throw it away and start on a Mendel.by korban - New Zealand RepRap User Group
