I am also having this same issue with the temperature jumps. Mine is also + or - 3 degrees. I am using the most recent version of Smoothieware firmware. I have E3D v6 Hotend which uses a Semitec 100k thermistor. Thanks for the tip on the tuning CapnBry...I will give that a try. MakerBase seems to be much more conscientious than other Chinese companies I have dealt with. Hopefully they can sortby GeoDave - Controllers

Just a quick update on my makergeeks.com kit. I worked with think3dprint3d and E3D to get my printer up and running and they were great! I wish I would have purchased my kit from think3dprint3d to begin with! E3D even gave me a free E3D v6 in exchange for my MakeGeeks hotend. I am building my first 3d printer(mini kossel) and I am having a heck of a time with RAMPs 1.4. Here is the history: 1. Hooked up Ramps included all the drivers and the Smart LCD controller XXL version. Plugged one driver in backwards which ended up frying the driver.
