I am thinking maybe there is an error in the voltage devider circuit i made to connect the 12v probe inductive sensor. so it gave a 12v to the arduino. is this a possible senario? shouldn't be the 5v regulator that gets fried?by Bassemmichel - General
My 3d Printer was working just fine, I decided to add auto bed leveling using an inductive sensor. it was working fine. While auto leveling the bed, during the last leveling point the printer stopped working and the electronics gave some smoke. I found out that a component in the arduino got fried. can anyone help me with which component is that (in the picture), and possible causes so i can fixby Bassemmichel - General
I tried shifting the driver to the Y-axis socket and the motor also. So that way when i move the Y-axis from the software, its the X-axis that moves. Everything worked fine. Which means the driver and the stepper did not get damaged. I also disconnected the X-axis endstop, still it didn't make a diffrence, it moves in only one direction. I tried pressing on the endstop with my finger, the x-axisby Bassemmichel - RAMPS Electronics
My printer was working fine. I had the extruder fan connected to aux 12v. I disconnected the fan mid print and commected it in the other orientation. Since then my X-axis only moves in one direction. Do you have any idea what might be fried to i can replace it? Thank you so much!by Bassemmichel - RAMPS Electronics
