Ok, i tried to lower the X-acceleration/-jerk and nothing changed.
But now i have a picture of the problem, the arrow is pointing to the point were the printer suddenly decided to correct the mistake. How is this possible?
does anyone know what is going on here?

Hi, I asked before a similar question see: printing shifts on X-Axis .
I use:
- Prusa mendel
- Power: ATX 250W
- 1.4 Ramps
- Marlin Firmware
but the problem seems to have changed.
while printing some parts are shifted to the right +X, for example only the infill or only the rim or one whole part. Then the next layer may print normally, but the error is repeating. I think the errors occure always

I bought new ones with the new ramps so i have now 8 motor drivers(A4988) with heasinks and exept for one they seem to work fine.
I tried to increase the voltage on der driver board and it worked a little better but then it shifted again after about 30 layers, still only on the x axis.
How much did u turn the pot on the driver board?

Hi there,
- it should be calibrated right(it already worked with this calibration fine some time ago).
Could it be that the motor moves in one direction further than in the other because of bad calibration?
- when the power is off and i move the carriage, there is a little resistance frome the motors but no strange sound or anything. If it is on i can't move it.
- i tried measure the ampere of

Hallo friends,
I use:
- Prusa mendel
- Power: ATX 250W
- 1.4 Ramps
- Marlin Firmware
and while printing the extruder carriage shifts along the x-axis at some points of the print.(it can print some small models without problems)
I already tried to change the X and Y motor-drivers (the y-axis is working fine) but the problem wasn't solved.
Then i changed the X and Y motors on the Ramps board whic

No i didn't. I'm not quite sure i understand what you mean.
I thought that maybe the transistors got too hot and broke, is this likely and what other parts could be affected?
Do i need to buy new transistors or a new ramp board?

hello forum
I'am using a prusa mendel with:
- NEMA17 steppermotors
- arduino mega2560
- ramps 1.4
- A4988 motor driver
- pc power supply
and i have the following problem:
my printer already worked for a while till i decided to use a different power supply and added a heatbed to it.
old PS: 250W ; 5V/25A ; 12V/8A new PS: 400W ; 5V/40A ; 12V/18A
then happened this:
