What do you guys think of the Geetech Prusa i3 X of Geetech in general? It seems like a good deal to me because it is the upgraded X version. The instructions also seem good and there are videos included. Here is a link to the printer: If it isn't good then please give me suggestions on what to get (under 350 please).

....and the controller is likely reading this as a triggered endstop (per my previous comment).
Not sure what the g-code is to read the enstops, but you can try that to see if this may be the issue or not.

I have no end stops hooked up right now. When I use manual control on the software the motor makes a normal sound as if it was moving. However, the shaft twitches about 1mm. I am so confused. I have the stepper hooked up to Ramps and wired properly with a PSU with plenty of output. I have the firmware properly configured and my motors are good. All I have connected right now is 1 motor. what leads are you using from the motors - which 4 of the 6?
Have you adjusted your stepper drivers?
I have hooked up the 4 wires to the RAMPS board with the center taps ignored. I measured the potentiometers with a multimeter and got .4V.

Hi,
I bought some stepper motors to make my own printer. I'm trying to get the motor to move so I can hook them up to my printer. However, when I try to run the motors they just make noise and don't move at all. I am just running one motor on the X-Axis
