Hello,
I would try to slow down the infill, and see if it ends up stronger. I would also slightly reduce the retraction amount, by a couple of mm. If infill still doesn't look right, try increasing temp just a little.

I had this issue with two of my printers.
The steps I took to fix it were:
1: Check and adjust the Z- Gap between your nozzle and the print bed-use a piece of paper as a spacer.
2: Check your Hobbed gear on the extruder motor to make sure it isn't packed full of chipped off filament.
3: Watch the gear as you try to print- does it stop? Does is spin too quickly and filament doesn't move? If it doe

Hello,
After recompiling the firmware and carefully following everyone's directions, It is finally printing to scale on all axis! I still have to scale my prints in a weird manor, of either .6 or 6 depending on where the files came from, but I think that can be solved by calibration like Downunder35m said. I'd ask for suggestions on a good calibration guide, but I wonder if I'm already outside o

Hello again-
I am wondering if its not the printers fault now, and has something to do with my CAD drawings, or my slicing software. I have always had to scale my prints up by 6 to get the X and Y dimensions correct, but, my Z seems like it doesn't scale correctly. My .5" by .5" by 1" test part prints at .5" by .5" by .62"

Hello,
I got the firmware to save my new Z steps per unit as 3100 instead of 2400, but the print is still the same height?! I'm really stumped at this point. I wonder if I should upload my config.h file for RAMPS for you guys to take a look at.

Alright, I went into the firmware, enabled EEPROM and changed my steps per unit for z to 2400 from 2267. I uploaded the firmware, opened repetier host, and ran M502. It gave me a confirmation message saying it loaded the hardcoded firmware. I then ran M500 and it says that it saved the new values. There is no notable change in the print height, seems the exact same as before. I'm sure it has some

I had been changing the values in the firmware and re-uploading it to the controller. Its strange though, because I had to modify my steps per unit for my extruder, and those took without running M502 and M500 commands manually. Weird, Ill try those things when I get home!

I have wondered the same thing. The only way I have been able to get parts to the correct size is to scale them in my slicing software instead of the Cubify Design. I know for a fact that you cannot scale assemblies in Cubify Design, but I also couldn't find a working setting for individual parts,

Hello everyone,
Having a weird issue with a printer I put together out of an older printRbot and some new parts. I have gotten my objects to print at the correct size on the X and Y axis, but my Z seems off. At first, the nozzle used to dig into the previous layer. I fixed this by adjusting some simple settings like my Z limit switch for homing. Now the issue that remain is the printer not print
