My soldering skills are terrible, ill look for some more then, I'm using Arduino 1.6.8 running Mega 2560. I'm using the Marlin Reprap suggested: Found here
I'm guessing I should look at getting something like this instead: 100K wired Thermistors

ive finally been able to get the printer to move, but MaxTemp Bed shows up on the LCD screen, ill leave the printer off until I buy 100K thermistors, ive also uploaded the wrong firmware onto it, the enstops are wrong and the printer makes its way to the top which damages some of the cords. hopefully I can depend on you for that one

The printer beeps, the LCD screen has boxes on it and won't show anything else, Prontergave told me it was the heated bed thermistor but I've double checked, I'll send a photo of it when I can. the M999 problem never occurred until I installed Marlin. So I don't know how it breaks over firmware being installed.

I'm using the latest Marlin, I use arduino Mega2560. I'll give the pin a Google, I've had many troubles with the printer and frankly haven't done one print with it, when I upload Marlin into the printer, M999 bug comes up and it is unusable, I started this topic to try and find a way to hard reset the printer or to see if anybody knew the original firmware
Sorry for the incomvienience guys

You guys will probably take it out on me, but me and a friend bought the item from eBay, I was never told the original firmware, the seller hardly responds to my messages, the model is a Prusa I3 Mendel.

Hi there,
recently I have encountered this problem with my printer, I have installed Marlin firmware onto my Prusa I3, the firmware is especially made for the printer but small tweaks have been made.
The printer seizes every time I turn it on and refuses to do anything until it is fixed. I have entered pronterface abd tried connecting to the printer, the information given includes:

The exact download link:
After using Arduino to compile and update my printer, the printer set of its safeguard and creating a really irritating noise. Under the harsh environment I opened printer face and tried connecting to the printer. The following message in

Thanks it can make sense to me when it's put in front of me.
Just to ask, do you have any idea on an offical reprap learning guide that isn't Chinese... Or just a beggingers guide into learning firmware, software and things like that.

Recently a Prusa I3 Mendel was given by a friend to assemble and test for a lot of $$
The issue began when I actually assembled the printer. My knowledge on the 3D printing world contained willy nilly nothing.
I'm a drop dead skunk right now because I have finally got the printer working but suddenly am bought into a world of programs.
I have spent 7 hours trying to install a darn driver before l
