Hey all, Nice to see some contacts in the north coming together. If we can do anything to help let us know. We can also clarify the Idaho RUG into chapters. I hope we can figure out some ways to include everyone in group orders, and dev that is pertinent to us, as local as we can be. C.Cecil, I added your online shop to the Idaho Reprap User Group Wiki as a local Idaho supplier. I also saw thaby FrankNeon - Idaho RUG
We would like to keep the momentum going with our meetings, as it is turning out that we have a great membership started already. Everyone can use motivation to get their bots working, and collaborate on new ideas and things of that nature. So we'd like to keep the same informal meetup format, and we'll hope that everyone who couldn't make it can come! We also have a Google Group now if anyoneby FrankNeon - Idaho RUG
Andy can you give me a link that I can cut and paste for the alternate extruder x carriage motor bracket? We could print it tonight. Also, the brewery next door is open, and I have no preference on flavors, unless "like a can" is a flavor, then not that. -Dby FrankNeon - Idaho RUG
Hey Tothe, I've met some people in my shop while they have been in Boise visiting. Seems like there is some awareness up north already. Let me know how we can help you. I'm currently making a set of Prusa pieces on my Mendel, if you want to I can try and resource a kit for you and get you started Regards, Davidby FrankNeon - Idaho RUG

Where do you see the 10th being proposed? I think I may have suggested that in a different thread, but this topic should be clear on the day being 9.3.11by FrankNeon - Idaho RUG

We are always trying to make what we do better, and thank you for the advice. I always like shopping for materials. I've just received some Onyx 385 from smooth on that has a higher heat dissipation, and if it tests well, will be the new extruder material that we use to cast various extruders. Regards, Davidby FrankNeon - For Sale
We have been producing these cast sets of pieces in our Reprap User Group since March 2011 and the first five to be assembled mechanically are waiting for us to assemble the electronics as a group. All of them conform structurally to the specifications on the wiki. As far as the quality of the pieces, they are verbatim clones of printed pieces, and will not affect the ability of these printersby FrankNeon - For Sale
We've been casting with Smooth On 326 urethane resin. Regarding how long these have been printing for, I am unsure as to how to respond, can you clarify the question?by FrankNeon - For Sale
Currently I have not been shipping with an extruder mount for the sole reason that some extruder motors and insulators can get hot, and cause the mount to warp and cause further harm to your printer. Each set does come with replacement pieces for a Wade's extruder, which I would recommend being printed in ABS for the best heat tolerance. To clarify, the sets that I cast come with all of the pieby FrankNeon - For Sale
I've added a few more pictures of a set that I just cast and pre-drilled. They are all individual photos, not assembled as a printer yet. These should give you an idea of the detail. Regards, Davidby FrankNeon - For Sale
Hi there! I can ship to Greece, the calculated international flat rate is $45.50. I have adjusted my rates so that the pieces are also cheaper, ($75) if you have access to a drill press. If you would like me to drill the pieces for you, the cost is $85. Let me know! -Davidby FrankNeon - For Sale
I have dropped the price a bit, and added pre-drilling the remaining holes as an option. Anyone who has ordered thus far will have their pieces pre-drilled. Regards, Davidby FrankNeon - For Sale
Thanks to all that have ordered, please let me know how you like the parts, and don't hesitate to give me feedback on anything. Soon pre-cast and drilled parts will be listed as individual items on the website. -Davidby FrankNeon - For Sale
Hi Snoopy, I will ask you not to post in this thread advertising pieces for sale anymore. My foremost concern is that when people who have bought parts from me might search here looking for support and your post will create confusion. Also your parts are not cast, and while I might understand us all giving support as a community for cast products, your product does not apply to this specific proby FrankNeon - For Sale
Uh oh, Tony wants to see how the magic happens. Well, sit down young man and I'll tell ya about the Part A's and the B's.by FrankNeon - For Sale

Full set of cast Sells Mendel pieces, pre-drilled and ready to assemble. These are made to order and quality is guaranteed. These have already been tested and assembled by our local RUG and the quality is great. I ask that you allow two weeks for the parts to ship, and will keep you in full contact during the process, including "birth photos" if you like. Speaking of GEN7, I'll be going through the BOM to see what is available at the Reuseum, and what might need to be ordered from Digikey. I'll post it once I get it figured out.by FrankNeon - Idaho RUG
Hey Andy, I'd like to buy in for a bearings set, so just let me know where I can send the funds! Regarding holes in the parts, apologies for not going over that with you when you picked up your pieces. I drew a spot on Jim's pieces to mark the cuts and described how I would cut them using a drill press. If you like, I'll help you make sure those bores are the right size.by FrankNeon - Idaho RUG
Industrial Hardware has it for $1.65 for 3" feet. They are as close to a one stop shop for me as anything with hardware. But they are only 10 blocks away from my house too.by FrankNeon - Idaho RUG
Andy, Yeah we've just completed the molds, so people will be given the opportunity to come and make their casts in order of registration. I believe you are second. The molds need to be removed from the pieces and I will start moving people through the castings. Each set takes about 2 hours to fully set. so we should be able to fit a couple people in a weekend. Concerning RAMPS, I've bought aby FrankNeon - Idaho RUG
