I didn't build mine. Bought it through Eckertech in Toronto. Currently building an MPCNC as a router CNC machine. There's plenty of 3D places both in Canada and the US that sell what you need to build one if you want. Nothing really locally that I know of. Sourcing all the parts yourself can be painful but possible. I'd recommend saving yourself a lot of trouble and getting a kit. There's plentyby pmaier - Canada, Ottawa-Gatineau RUG
Thanks for this guys. I had installed the newest Repetier (1.0.2) and it kept clogging and stripping my hotend/extruder. I figured out it was the gap fill that was causing it. Set the speed for gap fill to 0 (disables it) and prints were working albeit without the gap fill. Installed Slic3r 1.2.7 as mentioned here and it's back to printing pretty .by pmaier - General
Worked around it by setting the Brim to 2mm instead of 5mm.by pmaier - Printing
I'm using the newest repetier and slic3r and just turned on the brim feature for large parts I'm printing that have the corners lifting. I've set it to 5mm. The printer does 2 nice loops around the brim when it starts but then the rest of the brim printing looks like it's lacking material. Once the actual part starts printing it's back to a clean print. Any ideas ?by pmaier - Printing
