It would be easy for me to see that this is the problem but it was not. It was the PCB adaptor from Ramps. Probably some bad connections on PCB. And also for those who'll have same problem.... If you print from SD and your printer goes crazy like is printing what should not, try to change the SD card.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
So if someone else is reading this and has the same problem you should also check the LCD adaptor from the Ramps board. That one who receive the EXP 1 and EXP 2 cables. In my case, this was the problem. I replaceit and now i don't have any problems. Topic can be closed. Thanks!by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
I now it's working great. Like I said I don t have any problems with my rambo mini board and the same card, same LCD.I think the arduino mega is my problem. I ll change it and see after. Because what is weird that During the print from USB I get Print from SD function. So........ the mega is not sending right datas probably.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
I understand.... I can live with that. But the SD problem.....what should I do? Tmr I ll change the hardware setup. Maybe it's the arduino mega, maybe it s the ramps..... LCD i'm sure it's working.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
For the second problem I think I need to change marlin code so when I press the kill button from lcd pannel this will access the reset buton from the ramps 1.4. Practically, this is what i want. I want my button from LCD panel to act like the reset button mounted on the ramps board.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
As I described: ,,( i did not forgot to enable sd support card and so on in marlin)". And if this was the mistake, i don t see the meaning of the pictures, and also it won't work with rambo mini. I use the same modified version of firmware but I changed the motherboard to ramps 14 EFB. I also tried with others marlin versions like bug fix, rc 6 etc but I have the same problem.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Ok, thank you. So After I buy another mos-fet driver board where should i wire the signal pin? I think the Vcc goes to 12V and Gnd to Gnd. And what should I change in Marlin after? I just want to have the hotend fan powered at full speed over 50 degree celsius and the print fan to respect the pwm signal from slicer. Now I have connected my print fan to D9 pin and I my hotend fan to 12Vcc. It's suby DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
I call them problems, because all of them are not present when I'm using my Rambo mini board. My printer prints preety good with the rambo mini board but i wanted to try the ramps 1.4. So I took my old firmware, change the motherboard to ramps 1.4 EFB and do some little changes. Problem 1: LCD display Card inserted but when I go in the menues it sais no SD card. This problem is not present with tby DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Do you think this new release will include also Unload/Load flament function in the prepare or control menu? Thanks. By the way, in my case, Auto bed leveling it's not working properly. I'm using RC7 Marlin with an inductive sensor probe.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
I have printed this part with 6.5 mm retraction distance, 45mm/s retraction speed 0% infill and printing speed 60mm/sec. I'll do the change and I'll post the differences. Thanks.by DOYT - Printing
No opinion? Or is not possible.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
I got it, I had it formulated different than yours. Now it's working but it's rough. I mean it sais continue printing after ) I ting I need to create specific functions for this.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
I got this... In file included from sketch\ultralcd.cpp:50:0: sketch\ultralcd.cpp: In function 'void lcd_control_menu()': ultralcd.cpp:266: error: '_lcdLineNr' was not declared in this scope lcd_implementation_drawmenu_ ## TYPE(encoderLine == _thisItemNr, _lcdLineNr, PSTR(LABEL), ## ARGS); \ ^ sketch\ultralcdby DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Hi. I just wondering why do I have such an ugly printing on the belly, on the bottom of this frog and why is so nice and smooth on the top? I m using an original e3dv6 full with qualitative pla filament. Print quality 0.1mm 60mm/sec print speed, printing temp 210/55, print fan cooling at 255. The quality on the bottom should be like it is on the top without supports. As slicer, I'm using cura 2.by DOYT - Printing
Hi. I have 1 hotend, 1 heatbed and 2 fans. How should I connect the fans on RAMPS 1.4(as hardware) and what should I change in Marlin so that the Hotend fan will run at full speed over 50 degree Celsius and turn off below 50 degree Celsius and the cooling filament fan or the prin fan to be turned off when it's not printing, 20% power on first layer, 70% power to the second layer and full power onby DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Maybe if I cut all the Change filament function from tune submenu and I paste it in ultralcd.cpp let's say in the Prepare menu it will appear there. i'll give it a try.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Don't get me wrong, I do have on my LCD this function but ONLY after I hit print from SD or print via USB. And it works fine. What I'm saying is that I do not have this function on my LCD BEFORE I want to print something. LEt's say my printer is cold and turned off. I want to print something but I have the wrong filament loaded. So I turned on my printer, I heated up and now I want to use Load/Unby DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
I still didn't found the X and Y lines in ultralcd.cpp. I want to erase the X and Y position from my LCD both when it's printing and when it's not. Do somebody knows where are these lines? Thanks!by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
I tried but..... still I don't see any load/unload function in any of my menues.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Hi, Is there a way in Marlin to enable Load/Unload function in the Main Menu? Because it appears only when the printer is printing. I mean.... when I print function Change filament appears but no Load an Unload.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Oh........I got it. Make sense....... Sucks thing is that my bed can't keep 100 degree temp. It reach this temp but during the print this value decrease until 92 or so and then I have the message printer halted, please reset. Maybe I shoud place some isolator under that bed. But I don t understand why is behaving like this because prusa or other printers have an empty space under the bed.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Why do I have in Marlin set HEATER_0_MAXTEMP 275 and BED_MAXTEMP 120 and when I want to adjust temperature from my LCD the maximum I can set for Hotend is 260 and for bed is 105?by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Yeah your advice with increasing the voltage is working, now it heat up both the extruder at 250 and heat bed at 100 in 7 minutes rather than 7:45- 8:00. I can't increase more than 13.6V so..... I'll apply the other advices. Thank you very much.by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
I have an MK3 Alu heat bed with EPCOS 100k thermistor and covered with blue tape for adhesion. When I heat it up to 55 60 degree Celsius for PLA it takes a decent time to heat up, about 2:30 minutes (same time hotend is heating up also to 215). But if I want to heat it up to 90-100 degree for ABS, boy...........it take aloooot. Like 7 8 minutes. I have a MEAN WELL SP-320 power supply 12V 25A. Mby DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
I solved the problem. I replace my extruder gear with a smaller one in diameter so the motor have more torque. And I loose a bit the tension on the spring and now runs perfecly. Thank you for advices guysby DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
The other settings are exactly the same. The only settings I change when i print for 0.06 and 0.1 are printing speed and infill speed. Just these two. And I posted them above: ,, I printed the same part at 0.06mm layer height with 60mm/sec print speed and 80mm/sec infill speed and the print was wonderful. Same thing for 0.1 mm height at 60mm/sec print speed and 60mm/sec infill speed"by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
So I made some experiments. I printed the same part at 0.06mm layer high with 60mm/sec print speed and 80mm/sec infill speed and the print was wonderful. Same thing for 0.1 mm high at 60mm/sec print speed and 60mm/sec infill speed. But, when I print at 0.2 mm layer high with 60mm/sec print speed and 60mm/sec infill speed then the extruder start to skip randomly. I posted some pictures with my seby DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Well.... my hotend temperature is surprisingly good. I mean I don't have devitations bigger than 1 degree Celsius and PID calibration was done two times at 240 degrees. If I extrude in the air when it's not printing I don't have any problems. I think a good experiment will be to start print something and the rising up the extruder from bed and ust print in the air. To see if during the air printby DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
Yes, I tried this also.... still don't solve the problem. I'll try with a smaller gear in diameter. I heard that a smaller gear have more power torque. We'll see.....by DOYT - Firmware - Marlin
