Much appreciated work here.. I've printed this out and fitted it - works really well and problem solved . I think that the controller housing fixing nearest to the Y motor needs to be relocated to give more room for this new part. Your conclusion is probably correct.i.e. ground noise and the relationship between scope ground point and the local ground of an I.C. can result in misleading scope traces. The only way to deal with this, in order to see what noise an IC is actually experiencing, is to use two scope probes and the scope's maths function. I just want to confirm that I have exactly the same problem with the Web Server, it's very unreliable - particularly in getting past the password prompt. I down loaded and installed the latest firmware but with the same result. rayby rayedge - Ormerod
I've used spring clips from cheap photo frames instead of the supplied clips. The frames in question consist of a glass panel and hardboard backing - held together by spring steel clips. You may have to trim the clips with side cutters, the clips are very low profile and don't get in the way. Picture attachedby rayedge - Ormerod
Hi everybody - I bought a kit from RS and now have complete the basic build. There are a lot of issues with this kit mostly around the incomplete and sometimes misleading documentation. This area of the Forum is for the SD card problems so here is my experience on this .. The card as received was empty...
