Well, i think, that the reading is ok. the numbers go up when head is close and go down, when is far away. I made two sucessful prints. But as i've said both numbers are the same. I had same problem, when i used original homing files. With M558 P2 commented out. I think its just a bug And as i have said i flashed 1.00A. There is no problem, ofcourse bugs happen You are doing great job, and I'm wby Mercnik - Ormerod
yes, you are correct. i get the same reading 412(412).by Mercnik - Ormerod
I flashed 1.00a, but I stil have the same problem with Z probe. Any solutions?by Mercnik - Ormerod
Ok. Thanks. I will flash 1.00a. And then get back to you.by Mercnik - Ormerod
I flashed the updates. Things seem to be working fine. I just have a problem with Z probe. So i just want to know, if I have an modulated Z probe, on Ormerod 1, and I have:: M558 P2 ; Use an modulated Z probe :: command in config do I have to make any changes to Homex, homey, homez, or homeall files?? It seems that Z probe is shoving identical values for compensated and uncompensated reading In oby Mercnik - Ormerod
I haven't done any firmware updates for a while. and now i have updated frpm 0.78r to 1.00b So i just want to know, if I have an modulated Z probe, on Ormerod 1, and I have:: M558 P2 ; Use an modulated Z probe :: command do I have to make any changes to Homex, homey, homez, or homeall files?? It seems that Z probe is shoving identical values for compensated and uncompensated reading.by Mercnik - Ormerod
I realized that. I couldn't move anything in old webinterface. Or when pushing STOP. It works fine now. I had a lot of problems with software. Not shure why, but things that should work, didn't. Or didn't work sometimes. I'm learning...by Mercnik - Ormerod
Yes that is all true. If something goes wrong (first layer not sticking, or something similar. or now when i had problems...) I just wanted to pause/stop, retract fillament, move up Z axis' to clean nozzle, home all axes and try again. Without reseting, homing, bed leveling, reheating bed.. But i can not move motors when in pause or when stoping print. I do ewerything ower web, just when i stopby Mercnik - Ormerod
I tried different cable. I have new firmware and webinterface, I use webinterface and pronterface, becouse, if print goes bad, you can not move axes after pause or stop in webinterface. So i use bouth to move z up, to clean nozzle or something else.by Mercnik - Ormerod
Yes axis compenstaion in log shows 0. There are no visible bad connectins or bad soldering on the duet USB socket. Iby Mercnik - Ormerod
Ok. I have set T to 0.62, if higher it was overshooting (not much 1*C) But if lower, then it reached 198 quite fast, but last two degrees it took almoust a minute. I will try to print the snowman, to see if everything else works ok. The bed compensation (set to 0), and all other things that i had problems with in last few days.by Mercnik - Ormerod
This is the config.g So if i got value of 117,4 at 200*C this means T value is 0.671. Do i just put in command M301 H1 S1.0 T ??? I understand that T value is by default 0.25, If i have 0.67, this means that it should go down or up? Or just set it to 0.25by Mercnik - Ormerod
Well today it's not making USB connect/disconnect sounds. When I tried to print (to see if sound is back) i had again problem with extruder not getting to 200*C in 120 sec. And i have M301 H1 S1.0 command. I don't get it anymore?by Mercnik - Ormerod
Ok. i did all that, except reflashing. Axis compenstaion values are attached. I don't understand why There is still compenstaion, if i commented the command out? After M556 S78 X0 Y0 Z0, values show 0. I tried homing all axes, and G32 command and Y does not move. But ofcourse after turning it off and back on it's the same old story. What can I do, if reflashing several times did not help? I triby Mercnik - Ormerod
Hmm. And what can i do? Do you think flashing again your 0.78r version would help? I did it twice allready. Or should i try flashing 0.78b from RRP? I looked again in all sys files on SD, but no M556 command. I tried setting all M556 values to zero, no change. But 7.5mm is to much even if M556 is trigered somehov? And then all axes would compensate, but only Y ax (bed) moves. As soon as z motorby Mercnik - Ormerod
Yes i did. This are my parameters G31 Z2.20 P553. The ''Set the probe height and threshold (deliberately too high to avoid bed crash on setup)'' is just a sentence that remained from RRp original file. And again, all axes home normaly. The problem is just with G32 command. As i described. THe bed moves to much. As soon as probe measures first point P0 (x55 y0), and starts moving up, Y coordinatby Mercnik - Ormerod
Yes i have reset the duet several times, after uploading and commenting out M556 command. The --- G31 Z2.20 P553 ; Set the probe height and threshold (deliberately too high to avoid bed crash on setup)--- command line is from original RRP SD ormerod1 file. Should i cooment it out? I think similar line was in old files (0.78) But homing of all axes works fine. The probleby Mercnik - Ormerod
Here are logfiles of M208 and M122by Mercnik - Ormerod
I have checked sys files for M556 code. but didn't find any send M556 command, and got response -- Axis compensations - XY: -0.01154, YZ: 0.01859, ZX: -0.00385 Where could the command be. I don't have a setbed file Yes i have a modulated IR probe-4pins ( RRP send wrong one, from ormerod 2, it was just a week before 2 came outby Mercnik - Ormerod
No change. As soon as head moves up ( after P0), Y jumpes to -7.48 When it goes from P1 to P2 y motor turnes. At P3 is x 221.46 and y-7.48 The same thing as beforeby Mercnik - Ormerod
I tried it again And as soon as it moves from P0 to P1. Y coordinates jump from 0 to -7.5. And then it drives to y160, but is 7.5 more From P1 to P2 y also moves slightly, for at least 5mm At P3 it shows X220 y-7.5by Mercnik - Ormerod
The coordinates are set so only now. X is ok, the problem is with y. I have the probe over center of paper at (55,0), (55,175), (220,175) and (220,0). But the problem is that the y axis-bed is not moving corectly at bed compensation. At p0 is ok, P1 x is ok, but y is around 190-almoust at the edge, when head moves to p2 bed moves (looks like sliping) even further. But if i use commands on webinteby Mercnik - Ormerod
Hi, I have problems with Y axis I home all axes, and it works corectly. The movement is ok, no belt sliping or something but when i send G32 command. The bed seems not to be on right coordinates. it is at y180 to 190 on P1 when it should be at y160 and when it moves to P2 the bed moves even further to almoust the end. But the bed should be at y175. So the x axis crashes in bed. It's shoving 160by Mercnik - Ormerod
I set bed temperature to 61 and hot end to 200. The picture is in previous post- webinter2. The hotend temp. came to 199.7 and it just turned off. USB sound reproducible? i don't know/ understand what you mean? The sound laptop makes when you disconect USB. I waited for 10-15 minutes, restarted laptop and printer. Now everything is ok. Webinterface working perfectly as the Pronterface. Printer haby Mercnik - Ormerod
yes sorry, stupid of me. I did it corectly now. But i still have problem with heater. This time the bed got to 61*C, and the nozzle got to 199,7*C, then it just turned off. But the whole time the computer was making sound as if i pulled out the USB cable, and put it back in. Is this becouse of power supply? I also took new config.g file from new firmware, and just put in my settings i put M301by Mercnik - Ormerod
I have just flashed new firmware on my duet. First i flashed original RRP 0.78b, i uploaded SD, i just used my old config.g - i have modulated z probe, and becouse of other settings. Then i flashed your firmware as you sugested 078q, and then i uploaded your web interface on SD. I turned the x motor conections around. And now i get strange readings on webinterface temperatures show 220*C And whenby Mercnik - Ormerod

Quotedc42 You should be able to get a reliable Ethernet link with a cable connection to the router, provided you do not have an IP address conflict. However, the Ethernet interface in the standard firmware is not very reliable, and the file upload protocol is lacking any sort of error detection. That's why there are major changes to both in my fork of the firmware. Hi, as I said, I'm very new tby Mercnik - Ormerod
