My max temp is:
#define HEATER_0_MAXTEMP 275. So I don t think this is the problem. What is weird is that this problem occur only when I want to print from SD or I order(from LCD) to the printer to have a 215 degree temp to the nozzle. Because it's not a problem to print with repetier, I heated up the nozzle about 220 degree and then disconnect the printer from PC and I tried to print from SD. I

About my second problem I changed some parameters here. Still I have printer halted.Please reset when I want to print from SD card.

Regarding to my first problem I played with the next variables:
// Homing speeds (mm/m)
#define HOMING_FEEDRATE_XY (50*60)
#define HOMING_FEEDRATE_Z (12*60)
//
// MOVEMENT SETTINGS
// @section motion

#define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT {100,100,400,500} // default steps per unit for Ultimaker
#define DEFAULT_MAX_FEEDRATE {200, 200, 30, 25} // (mm/sec)

Hi guys!
For this topic, I have two problems with my 3d printer.
1) My Z axis speed is very slow. I have a system with two Z axis motors and it happend sometimes that I want to level the X axis by rising it all the way up. My lead screws are 8mm/revolution. To see how slow my Z axis is moving check this video at minute 1:20 (this is not my printer) . Can you tell me please what should I set

So I thought I have a hardware problem to my miniRambo board. In order to see that, I downnload the firmware from prusa3D and flash my board with their firmware and my LCD now works perfectly. So the only bug is in these Marlins firmware thaat are online. I really don t know how your LCD works guys. After this, I reflash my board with my marlin-RC firmware that didn't worket before. And now I hav

Prusa i3 original MK2 firmware can't be accessed. It's an .exe extension file so I can't see anything in firmware. I tried with all variants of Marlin from here . Some of them don't have miniRambo board in boards.h. But for the ones who does, I tried with all version of Marlin and still the same problem. I also enabled ULTIPANEL like you said and nothing changed. I reconnect my LCD to prusa in

Should I enable/disable some pins in Marlin? It really suck this situation. It's like something is missing. I don't uderstand. Connected on my prusa i3 original works perfectly. They have some modification in firmware that I don't have them. I re-checked pins connections etc. Nothing happend.

Salut baieti.

Do someone wants to post his Configuration.h file so I can compare it? I'm really looking forward to solve this problem. It starts to pissed me off. I have 2 days, 48 hours until now and I don't understand where I'm wrong. Maybe someone can send me a link with a good Marlin version. Somebody who have a functional LCD. Thanks!

If I un-comment just #define ULTRA_LCD and #define SDSUPPORT without //#define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER It gives me an error:

I'm thinking it must be something more to un-comment than #define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER. And I don't know why it lights only two rows from four. Maybe there's something more. Is someone who use Marlin-RC and his LCD works?

I did this like I said in my first post on ,,What I have tried in order to solve the problem:" but it didn't worked. I'm using Marlin-RC. I tried with Marlin 1.1.0-RC8 but I have the same result. LCD only lights up like in photo that I post it.

Ok so you advise me to uninstall the u8glib library from Arduino? About the connection I'm sure that they are made correct because I tried to swipe them, exchange the port between them and the only combination witch works and lights up is exp1LCD to P1 miniRambo and exp2LCD to P2 minirambo. Only in this combination also works on that 3d printer.
You are perfectly right about switching on 180 de

Hi guys! I open the topic here because I really think I have a problem with setting Marlin in order to have a functional LCD. So, I have a 2004 LCD 20x4 . You can check in the link from where I bought it.
The problem that I have is that the LCD lights up and shows me only two rows of dots and no characters. This can be seen in the picture that I post it. I'm using a miniRambo Board with Ma

Ok, so now I'll write for all the people witch will come with the same question and want to test the mechanics without thermistor, extruder etc. And after this, the admin can close the topic but leave it on site so others can read it.
Here is how I solved the problem:
First, most of the extruders from 3d printers have an NTC thermistor witch means resistance degrease with increase of the temper

So I know that the majority of thermistors are NTC. So without thermistor connected to the board everything is fine. When I connect the thermistor I have MAXTEMP triggered. I measured my thermistor with a multimeter and it's about 1.6 ohm. I don't know why it s so low. It should not be like 100K?

That temp was with thermistor 11 from Marlin. When I changed with thermistor 1 repetier is reading 0 celsius degree. And again, system stopped! What is happening? ))

Ok, so now I have another problem. I connected my thermistor to the board. And the value that he reads is 957.5 celsius degree. And off course the command to the printer is MAXTEMP triggered. System stopped!

Oh, thank you. So in Repetier I upload the file that i want to print, i slice it, i write M302 S0 at g-code box, hit send and then hit print? And after this what command should i send to reverse to the initial state?
M302 S170? Thank you!

Hi!
I'm making an H-bot 3d printer and I just finish the mechanics. So now, I want to test it without extruder. I'm using Marlin Firmware and Repetier as a Host. I tried to set #define TEMP_SENSOR_0 0 but It gives me an error: #error "TEMP_SENSOR_0 is required." So how can I do this?
Thanks!
